I've read your diaries at dailykos and been very impressed with how you responded.  I too am not the most comfortable with up-front conflict and confrontation and I'd much rather work to develop a framework within which all can collaborate.

		<description>The irony of all this is, and those who know me well may agree, I am &lt;em&gt;not&lt;/em&gt; someone who thrives on conflict or seeks it out. If anything, my natural tendency is to avoid it if at all possible because I find it so completely draining. I usual m.o. is to head it off at the pass by seeking some reasonable compromise. 

Believe it or not. Given that, it's rather funny that someone like me ends up a political blogger at all.</description>
