If anything, my natural tendency is to avoid it if at all possible because I find it so completely draining. I usual m.o. is to head it off at the pass by seeking some reasonable compromise. Believe it or not. Given that, it's rather funny that someone like me ends up a political blogger at all. The irony of all this is, and those who know me well may agree, I am not someone who thrives on conflict or seeks it out.
