		<description>That&#039;s probably because it&#039;s not &lt;em&gt;their&lt;/em&gt; &lt;strike&gt;asses&lt;/strike&gt; families hanging in the balance. &lt;em&gt;They&lt;/em&gt; aren&#039;t going to have to deal with being denied those rights and benefits when &lt;em&gt;they&lt;/em&gt; need them. 

Like I said in my post on the ruling, it&#039;s a victory for gay &amp; lesbian families in New Jersey, and that&#039;s a good thing. Period.</description>

		<description>I read the reaction over at Kos to this.  I am amazed at how many self-proclaimed liberals think it&#039;s OK to put off civil rights to win an election.  I thought that was how we got in this whole mess in the first place.</description>
