And here is LWO with all the right answers and in a convincing, compassionate tone, no less.
And mores the point, no GAY person is there to speak out on their OWN experience that is NOTHING like what LWO is saying, such as yourself, Terrence.
Which is the majority.

What LWO DOES do, is not hateful, in the immediate sense. But it’s exploitive and unnecessary.
It’s a self feeding process and industry. The majority of attendees represent the majority of people who surround gays and lesbians every day of their lives.
But rather than listen to the GAY person, or let the GAY person inform…these parents and other relatives turn to OTHER STRAIGHT people, or those also convinced that the straight way is the ONLY way to inform them.
It’s a circular access. Straight people doing all the talking and those who are supposedly formerly gay, only informing just enough to convince their audience they are now straight…without the more detailed information that could prove otherwise.

Many ex gays, don’t have a sex life at all. If they are married to the opposite sex, other than a window into their bedrooms, what evidence is there that they are completely healed and are now heterosexual?
Having the opposite sex spouse, and kids…isn’t proof.
No one intrudes on the bedrooms of their neighbors, and squirms when the less inhibited offer too much information about their sex lives.

So what we often have here at these conferences is general theories about the origins of homosexuality (nurture), and the most remote of similar experience in their basic theories is enough to qualify on the whole of homosexuality.

Still and all…what does that have to do with being discriminated against when it comes to one’s profession, child care, marriage or mainstream integration during one’s formative years?
What does their outreach do to eliminate school bullying, assault, attempted rapes on girls who identify as lesbian, and homicide?
That’s just it, they work one from backward.
If you’re not gay, no problems like that.
If you don’t come out, you won’t be hurt.

There is a paternalistic, definitively misogynistic mission with Exodus and LWO.
They are more investing in gender ROLES and what’s appropriate for a mother and father to do, that has nothing to do with their individuality and personality…but everything to do with the parents being male and female.
And in the real world, there is no such human animal that does things strictly because they are male and female.
What men and women are EXPECTED to do, is a social artifice.
A construction for the purposes of control.
And religious cultures are deeply offended by the form and function of women’s bodies, and by assertivness and self determination of women.
And the offense taken to homosexuality, is an extension of this.

The workshops in LWO have everything to do with femming lesbians, and butching up gay boys.
The instruction is, for the parents to go home and tone down their own styles and characters, and hunt for any characteristics in their gay loved ones that resemble what is out of place for their gender.

I don’t have to tell you there isn’t any more one can detect in heterosexual DNA, than homosexual DNA that distinguishes one from the other.
There is nothing in one’s sexual orientation that will determine character, talent, virtues and potential…that says one is inferior and one is superior.
There is no such thing in nature. And for Exodus and LWO to tell their audience that all else is determined by nurture, since there is no ‘nature’ evidence…says that these people truly have their rudder pointing in the wrong direction and everything they instruct is WRONG.

Nature, natural selection, and what is natural…is staring everyone in the face.
But LWO asserts that their audience go blind to it, and focus on what isn’t there and isn’t fearful or requires urgent intervention.
A lot of the spokespersons for these groups are ex basket cases, unqualified to determine that one’s orientation will lead inevitably to similar dysfunction.
It’s merely their wish, but not a reality.

They are selling the fiction, that heterosexuality is better and functions better and is more moral.
I don’t know how they figure that, heterosexuals obviously have the exact same dysfunctions, but not the excuse of their orientation to blame.

And the majority of homosexuals who ARE healthy, functional…are simply not mentioned and are excluded from the conference.
Omission and denial are the tools of the weak.
And if not hateful…what Exds and LWO do is weak, cruel and manipulative.
They deal fear and insecurity to the already fearful and insecure. Truth and love are not their aim, but control and misinformation certainly is.
And they don’t want to be challenged and feel that ‘God on our side’ is defense enough for their ambition.
If results are not on their side…God isn’t either.
