The most horrific act of violence against we in the gay segment of humanity , started as religious ; and garden variety ;bigotry by those amongst us with deeply held beliefs, no real need for dental records , DNA that's amazingly similar to that found in everyone in their community including various livestaock , and the attention span of a cockerspaniel being shown a card trick. Seriously ; though; at the beginning of the AIDS epidemic; the fierce opposition to any government funding into HIV and the development of treatment options , and the subsequent delay in producing antiviral meds ; denied thousands , even a fighting chance at additional life. Ideology became a weapon of mass destruction , and those who built and implemented this weapon are still amongst us , and have yet to be called to task for their criminality. gays in the western world are probably too civilized to seek vengeance , but if the Third World ever got its s*** together ; and sought justice for the actions that permitted AIDS to reach the global proportions we see today; it would make Nagasaki & Hiroshima look like a cracked windshield .
