This is an odd movement to say the least. First off, Jesus was mild, meek, and forgiving. This is not all that Jesus was, however. Remember when Jesus found taxmen working in the house of the Lord? He sat down and for several hours wove a whip and then unleashed a terrible wrath upon those men and destroyed their tables and places of work. Let's not forget the authority that Jesus also walked under. He stood before Pharohs and Jewish leaders and Roman soldiers as well, never backing down. He showed incredible courage and strength at times when most people would flee. As for saying that swearing is a manly thing to do, that's rubbish. It is a childish thing to do and has no place in the house of the Lord. While I can relate to this movement of injecting masculinity back into Christianity, knowing what it's like to be the "Christian nice guy", I do not agree this is the best way. And no, masturbation does not come to mind. Instead, something far more terrifying does. Injecting virility, militarism, and aggression brings to mind ideas of another crusade. But who is the potential target? Seems to me women are the natural target in this instance. That does not sit well with me at all.

The problem with church started in the victorian era when men started to give their god given roles to women ,giving rise to new movments like communism darwinism which made church a group of sissies, although god gave them material power to make all world they lacked spiritual power.Stand up like men and fulfill the great comission by covering the whole earth by church of jesus christ before his coming. This is the only hope for the world moving everyday into eternal hell!!!

Your are right about this. There seems to be a backlash against what some are calling the "feminization" of Christianity. But wasn't Jesus meek, understanding and forgiving? But there are real ministries out there now that use aggression, swearing and other "manly" behaviors in their ministries.
