Why do people have to pass tests to drive cars and not to parent? The fact that homosexual couples cannot procreate without third party involvement forces homosexuals to strive to be the best parents they can be. This reasoning is not the result of some gay trait or some weird genetic advantage, but it results simply from looking at parenting as a privilege rather than a right. Because homosexual couples cannot naturally procreate, the amount of consideration, planning and preparation (not to mention the cost) before they become parents is astronomical when compared to an average heterosexual couple. In essence, when a homosexual couple want to be parents, they must want it bad -- there is no oops or maybes about it. All of the typical reasoning arguing that heterosexual couples naturally make better parents than homosexual couples are simply heterosexuals projecting the worst fears and traits about themselves onto homosexuals in order to justify heterosexual parents' supposed superiority in spite of all of the bad parenting heterosexuals couples have performed throughout the ages.
