We definitely have it easy compared to what he endured. What hurt me more is the reaction to his assassination by Dan White; there were actual sympathizers. And don't get me started on the infamous "Twinkie Defense." Despite his flaws, which we all have, I honor his memory and am grateful for his sacrifice.
