In Decline

Another day has gone by and I haven’t written anything, let alone anything of any consequence. There’s a very good chance I won’t tonight, because I’ll be too tired. Right now, I have to start my evening ritual, in preparation for my morning ritual as I did yesterday and will do tomorrow. Oh well. At least I can publish digets. At this point, I’m officially a blogger in decline. The question is: what to do about it.

  1. Well, Terrance, what are you going to do about it?

It’s pretty clear that you are, in fact, a writer. First, you’re good at it, and second, if you weren’t a writer, you wouldn’t be nearly so miserable just now. Since quitting writing would just produce more unhappiness, your options are 1) change the rest of your life in order to make time for writing, 2) change the writing you do so that it will fit into whatever time is available, or 3) some combination of 1 and 2.

Sounds easy on paper, I know! But these are your choices. I speak as someone who is faced with some of the same issues, and who is making some changes (which will become apparent soon). Good luck, T., and keep us apprised.
