Closing Guantanamo is a Good Start

With this, I think Obama is off to a good start.

Guantanamo, torture, extraordinary rendition, etc., are perhaps the most shameful crimes of the Bush Era.

Reversing the Bush administration’s criminal policies is a good first step. But only the first.

The Obama administration needs to go much further, but I’ll say more about that later.

  1. Looks to me like Barack is off to a great start, on track to keep his word and restore some international credibility for the US
