Reminded me of this.
There is a famous exchange between Winston Churchill and Lady Astor when they were both staying at Blenheim Castle visiting the Marlboroughs. The two politicians had been at each other’s throat all weekend when Lady Astor said, “Winston, if I were your wife I’d put poison in your coffee.” Whereupon Winston said, “Nancy, if I were your husband I’d drink it.” (1)
And, to Joan Walsh, if I were married to Dick Armey, I’d probably be drinking Drano on the rocks.

I’m surprised that Dick Armey even has a platform to spew his tripe. Isn’t he the author of the “”Mental Recession” comment in the beginning of the McCain
Campaign. How mental does it look now. “The fundamentals of the economy are sound.”……………comment was first uttered by Fred”Creature from the Black Lagoon”Thompson at his first Republican debate that he decided to show up for in February.I’m glad other caught the ridiculous and rude comments and demenor toward Joan from the Dick.
